Information we collect
When you create a fan account, we collect your name and email address. We store a protected password hash, account and email-verification status, nominations, poll participation, and your email preference. Booking forms collect the contact and event information submitted in the form. The site also uses essential session cookies and keeps limited security records needed to protect accounts and operate the service.
How we use it
We use this information to operate fan accounts, voting, nominations, booking inquiries, password resets, security, and other features you request. If you separately choose to receive band updates, One Thursday may occasionally email you about upcoming performances, tickets, or band news.
Your email choices
Band updates are optional and are off unless you choose them. You can change this preference from your fan portal or use the unsubscribe link in any band-update email. Account verification, password-reset, security, and direct responses to something you submitted are service messages and are separate from promotional band updates.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell or rent fan information. We disclose information only to people operating One Thursday, service providers needed to run the website or deliver email, when you direct us to, or when reasonably required by law, safety, or security. Service providers receive only the information needed to perform their work.
Retention and protection
We retain information while an account or operational record is needed, and may preserve limited records for security, backups, legal compliance, and vote integrity. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 13. Anyone under 13 should not create an account or submit personal information.
Your requests
You may ask to review, correct, or delete your fan account information by contacting service@1thursday.com. Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, backups, or preserving anonymized poll results.
